The ST425 Standby UPS from CyberPower provides you with battery backup power and surge protection to ensure your devices stay operational in critical situations. It’s equipped with eight NEMA 5-15R outlets, some of which are spaced to better fit larger plugs. The eight outlets deliver a surge rating of 890 joules, and four of these outlets are powered by an internal battery that grants connected equipment a full-load runtime of up to 1.5 minutes in the event of a power failure. Other notable features include onboard LED indicators and audible alarms to alert you when a situation does occur. In addition, the UPS comes with EMI/RFI filtration.

So far it does what it’s supposed to do and doesn’t make any weird sounds.

these do fit in a 4 wide weather box but you have to then use an off set flat extension cord or power strip which isnt recommended — it would be 5 star if they made it with the outlets on the skinny sides – and who needs outlets that dont back-up? silly.

These are pretty good. I had to replace the entire unit after 3 years b/c replacement batteries were not available.

I currently have three UPS in use, two of another brand and this one. The Cyberpower is by far the worst I’ve ever owned. There are so many reasons I can’t even begin to list them all. Today for example I had a 2 second power outage in my city, my other two UPS kept humming along as normal. This one shut off and will not reset. Anything in the battery backup part is just dead and won’t reset. I had to move everything to surge only until I can order a different brand. Even little things like the placement of the power cord in relation to the power button. You have to have the cord sticking out the front and doubling back to the rear if you want the power button facing out. (which I have to have in the narrow location I have) Everything about this one is bad. Go with UPC.

It’s compact size makes it a perfect fit to provide backup power to the AT&T ONT in the data cabinet.

I was a long time APC brand customer. After that battery went bad, I replaced it and decided I needed an additional battery backup unit. I wanted to try a different brand so gave cyber power a try. So far it serves its purpose and easy to mount on wall or lay flat on desk or floor. I actually preferred cyber power because their 6-8 port units are still flat units where’s as APC’s are built taller. Once you start plugging things in, the taller unit can be inconvenient to place. Hopefully it holds up for along time, like the APC brand did.
