   This does all I expected it to do: converts the connection fine, no noise, missing frames, or pixels. This was the best option I found but I would like it even more if it were shorter. I need to plug this into the graphics card so there’s an increased risk of leveraged pressure on the port.

   Need this because my video card, even though having dual DVI , HDMI, and DisplayPort… can’t operate three monitors in a DVI + DVI + HDMI configuration. But, DVI + DVI + DisplayPort works.This adapter solved that problem when connecting an external HDMI LCD TV as a third monitoring source for video editing and playback.

   This adapter works great if you have a Display Port connector on your PC and are connecting to a display with an HDMI input. I was looking for one without a locking Display Port connector. The picture online shows it without a lock, but it does have one. You have to press a button to remove it from the jack

   I wanted to connect my lenovo laptop to my TV through my receiver. This worked perfectly when connecting directly to my TV, but didn’t work at all when connecting through my receiver, as DisplayPort doesn’t do HDCP, and this adapter doesn’t add it.

   This converter works well to connect a computer to a TV. This converter will not work to connect an HDMI source, like a DVD player, to a computer monitor. As long as you use it the way it was intended you’ll be happy.
