I bought this cable to connect my Surface Pro (2017) tablet to my 30 Dell U3011 UltraSharp monitor. It works perfectly with no issues whatsoever. I am able to mirror my tablet, extend the tablet onto the Dell monitor, or use the Dell monitor as the sole display and disable the tablet display… all 3 options work without issue. If I connect the Dell monitor’s USB cable to the Surface USB port, I can even use the monitor’s USB ports and SD Card reader!

Plugged it in. It worked. That’s what a cable is supposed to do. There have been some issues with waking up the screen of a sleeping Mac, but I don’t know if that’s a Mac problem or a cable problem.

Works exactly as it should. Used to connect a late 2013 MacPro to a Viewsonic VP2780-4K monitor. No issues.
