I love the look and setup of this dock. It’s small and clean setup and looks good on the desktop. The only drawback is that the VGA port, cannot be used in conjunction with any other video port on the dock. So if you want to have two monitors, they have to use the DP and HDMI ports. Other than that this is a great dock!

Most of the high-functional docks are meant for MacBook Airs or Pros. This dock works well for an older MacBook 12 and allows it to extend high-quality display to an external monitor that takes DisplayPort. I have not been able to find any other dock that serves a MacBook 12 that also has a DisplayPort. Having 3 USB Type-A ports is also a big plus.
