I bought this to run with a win 10 pc to get audio through headphones connected to the game pad. Getting the dongle to connect with the game pad the first time was a little futzy but after that it recognizes the game pad as soon as you press the X button. However, I was getting dropped communication evrry couple of minutes where the game pad just stopped doing anything. Looking through the standard locations in Windows (driver update, system management, etc) came up with nothing. After a lot of searching online I determined that I had to install an Xbox app from the windows app store in order to update the gamepad firmware. After update, the game pad connects reliably to the dongle with audio output from the gamepad.

I like this one better then the older version I got from amazon, although a bit smaller in my hands. Either way works great playing PC games. B&H was also cheaper for the newer version wish I had gotten both from B&H.
