   On my second Moshi keyboard cover. Superior to the ‘sticky’ feel of silicone, the Moshi cover is undetectable when typing. Lasts about 2 years, which is pretty good.

   I was having a problem with crumbs finding their way down among my keyboard keys when I ate at my computer. I did some research and decided to try this keyboard skin. It fits my Apple compact keyboard absolutely perfectly and is only minimally an interference when typing. You get used to the slight resistance. It certainly keeps any crumbs out from between the keys. I just lift it up and shake the crumbs into a wastebasket. It absolutely stays in place, even when my kitten wraps herself around and across the keyboard — doesn’t even budge.

   I always have my keyboard protector on. Sometimes I get things on my keyboard — seldom, because I am very careful (no liquid on same surface; don’t eat while typing, etc). However, my daughter who visits, often has crumb-creating food or greasy, or sticky fingers from eating during computer use. My husband does both drinking and eating –he has managed to spill beer on our desktop keyboard ( horrible job to clean it up). Now you know why my Moshi cover is always on my laptop keyboard (I never know when they will decide to use my laptop). In fact I bought a protector for our other keyboard, as well; and one for my daughter. It does a great job of protection. I should add that typing with the protector is just like not having a protector. There is a remarkably short adjustment period –minutes. I don’t usually think about it being on. If you type with sticky fingers, your fingers may pull the protector up a little with each stroke of a sticky finger. The other thing that you may want to know is that the cover makes black keys a little less shiny. A good feature is that you can wash the protector. It is pricey, but well worth the money for me.

   I have this guard on the wireless keyboard to my iMac desktop. It fits perfectly, protects the keys from dust or spills, and yet allows for an easy feel for the keyboard. It does not hamper your speed in typing. Perfect solution.
