Purchased this Netgear switch to use on a long run of Cat5e cable. By placing the switch halfway in a cable run of nearly 400 feet, it retransmits the internet signal and made the live streaming possible. At the point of origin, the measured bandwidth was 125Mbps; at the other end, the bandwidth was 105Mbps. Some loss is expeceted but more than enough bandwidth to do live streaming. A nice inexpensive way to solve a problem for the client!

Love the device and its compact powerful size. Unfortunately, the power supply that comes with it is the same wide width as the device itself. I used this in a drybox on a telephone pole. It was a tight fit for sure!! Also, note that the lan input port is not POE. This would be awesome if it was. When using wireless bridges, the POE on this port would save more space as you would not need a POE injector. Great product, working just fine, just a couple of personal improvements would make it a 5 star for me.
