Featuring a 3840 x 2160 panel with IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology, this display is designed for smooth 4K visuals. A 60 Hz refresh rate and 5 ms response time ensure smooth action with no tearing, while the 1000:1 contrast ratio and 300 cd/m² of brightness provide crisp and clear images. What’s more, Adaptive Picture technology automatically adjusts to ambient light for the optimum brightness.
In addition to HDR10, this monitor supports 1.07 billion colors. Vertical and horizontal viewing angles of 178° are intended to provide a comfortable user experience, even at extreme angles, and low blue light screen technology ensures a safe view. Connect to the display via the included HDMI cable or with an optional DisplayPort Cable. A USB Type-C cable is also included, enabling 90W charging and data transfer. This monitor sports a USB hub with three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports. Adjust height and pivot, swivel, or tilt the screen to find the perfect position. The Samsung LS27A800UJNXGO features a VESA 100 x 100mm mounting pattern.

This is the perfect monitor for work and personal use. I use the usb-c port to connect my work laptop during the day and I use the hdmi port to connect with my personal computer for movies and games. With my old monitor i used switch back and forth with my work laptop and my personal computer. Now, I do not need to switch back and forth since I have an USB switcher for my mouse and keyboard. The monitor itself it’s great, it is a 4k screen. I would highly recommend you to turn off the eye saver mode, that makes the screen really dark.

Very good monitor overall, good resolution. Connectivity options are great. Loaded with features as well (PIP, eye-care, game mode). I couldn’t get the monitor to work with a thunderbolt cable or a separate USB-C (although I didn’t check the version), so I had to use the wire that came with the monitor. A USB-C extension cable works just fine though, so if you find yourself needing more length, look at getting an extension cable. My only issue (and the main reason for not giving a 5 star review) is the failing auto-input switch. I never got auto-input switching to work despite fiddling around with the options. Overall though, great monitor, and I do enjoy using it on the daily.

I purchased this after doing a lot of research on 4K monitors. I am using this with a Dell XPS 15″ 9510. I purchased this one as it is 27 inches with 4K resolution, HDR10, has HDMI, Display Port, and a USB-C video connection that also provides power to the laptop at the same time and has some USB-A ports in the back that work like a USB hub, I am using this for my camera, mouse, and keyboard, which is very nice as I only have the one USB-C cable connected into my laptop and I can unplug that and go. A number of the reviews complained that the display is very dim, I also experienced this, but after turning off the “Adaptive Display” and “Eye Saver” options and it is pretty good. Very underrated is the stand. Include a very nice stand that allows you easily raise, lower, and tilt the monitor as you like and you can rotate the monitor to make it vertical. I was going to purchase a monitor arm for my desk so I could do this, but there is no need. I liked this so well that I purchased a second one for my daughter who is studying graphic design and art and this monitor works quite well for this.
