I have generally had OK luck with this usb key and when it works the performance is good. However I have found sometimes the low-profile connector doesn’t properly plug into some standard usb ports. Also a note about ergonomics: when this is sitting flat on a desk, it is difficult to pick up naturally by the thick end, since the keychain end tapers up smoothly and has a slippy matte finish, I usually have to pick it up carefully by the narrow flatter part, or slide it to the edge of the desk to get a grip on it.

I’ve run many tests and I’m getting 25 mbs. The same as my USB 2 devices. It’s a good price for a large amount of memory. Just don’t trust their reported speeds. “Up to 300MB/s Data Transfer Speed” doesn’t mean anything about normal write speeds.
