I bought this device specifically for downloading photos that I take from my camera onto my tablet. It performs exactly as expected and I really like the aluminum enclosure protecting the inner workings of the device. I haven’t yet tried out the ports other than the SD card reader slot so I have no thoughts on the workings of these ports.

I recently bought a M1 Mac mini and am loving it, but one of the only drawbacks is it doesn’t have many ports. My other accessories use up most of the available ports on it and I thought I was going to have to buy multiple adapters until I saw this. This is exactly what I was looking for! I have plenty to work with now and it works great! Definitely recommend if you need more ports. It’s a little pricey, but I’d gladly only have one adapter versus more plugged into my computer.
