   I installed this on the back of my 2007-2008 iMac. I get no video on either a monitor or plasma TV. The iMac sees the monitor in the preferences pane but I have black screen or both displays.

   Plugged it in with an old 2007 MacBook, works as stated. I don’t know if it’s because of the age of my laptop, but I do also need to run separate audio to my amplifier. The mini-DVI port does not transmit audio.
