I bought a cable USB31AC1M specified as USB 3.1 Gen2 (10 Gbps) but on the plastic bag I don’t read any mention to 10Gbps but only 3.1 superspeed (5Gbps). In the same order I bought cable USB31AC50CM which is correctly labelled. Lie or packaging error ? Not very professional !

Not much to say about a USB cable. StarTech makes pretty good stuff, and at a pretty good price so I got it. It has worked just fine. For what its worth I use it on a device I move around on my desktop constantly and is showing no signs of wear at the ends (had a no-name brand before and the ends around the connectors started to split after only a few months).

Well constructed. I wish that this vendors’ cables were available in shorter lengths. Used to connect ASMedia 1142 USB Type A chipset card to SanDisk CFexpress Type B Card reader. Download speeds are quicker than with XQD cards.

They make some very useful tools for odd jobs. This cable is going to be used in combination with an adapter going to connect to a duplicator to clone M.2 nvme drives. The nice people at StarTech told me the combination of gear needed to accomplish this.
