This JerkStopper Computer Support will remove all the stress and strain placed on the cable or cord to ensure that it stays plugged in and prevents cable or equipment damage.
This particular computer support model uses a clip-on for the Aero as an anchor point by allowing slack in the cord in order to prevent damage or dislodging. This kit can be used with any standard A/C power adapter cord, flash sync cord, HDMI, USB or FireWire cable. It supports cable diameters from 3.5mm to 8.5mm.

I am sorry but I simply can not recommend this product. I had it out the package for all of 5 minutes before it broke. Thin, cheap plastic. I did however still need something to protect against jerks. I therefore subsequently purchased Tether Tools Jerkstopper A Clamp (2). Much more solid and easier to use. Do yourself a favor and buy the A Clamp version.

Holds cable in place. Takes direct weight/stress off the connecting port. But because it (somewhat) loosely clips to the edge of desk/stand, it’s not going to protect against any significant jerk to the cable. This needs a screw-down securing feature to fully protect.
