I love the design and how slim this drive is. However, I keep having issues with it. It constantly has to be unplugged and then plugged back in to access files. You won’t know there is an issue until you go to open a file sometimes. I had two wait over three weeks to get a replacement when I RMA’d my first one, and I still get problems with the replacement. I suggest looking into out SSDs.

This drive barely takes up any space in my bag and transferring files is a breeze. However, I have had issues with the first one I got where any of my computers couldn’t detect it. After tons of troubleshooting, I contacted WD. It took them a week to respond to me to approve my RMA. I sent in the drive, then over a month later, I finally got a new drive. I contacted support multi times during that month and no one could give me an answer as to why this happened. I was without an external drive which I used for work, for 4 weeks. This was not okay. The new drive is working better however it does sometimes make the computer it’s connected lose access, only way to fix it is to unplug it and then plug it back in. I wouldn’t recommend this drive even though it works great when it does work. However, a product that cost me $200 shouldn’t have any of these issues (on two separate drives)

So I have a Western Digital 5TB external HDD hooked up to my Xbox One X and it’s probably one of the best purchases I ever made. So my question is: Can I use the WD P50 4TB SSD game drive on an Xbox Series X? I’m thinking about buying it because my Series X only has 1TB with a 1TB storage expansion slot and 2TB is not enough for me. If somebody could help me with this question I will be very grateful. Thank You.

Purchased this looking for an SSD for my M1 Pro. I get 230 MB/s write and 500 MB/s read, and I’ve swapped every cable and tried every port. Tried two different models, same problems. incredibly frustrating.
