Take full control of your games and simulators with the Logitech G X56 H.O.T.A.S RGB Throttle & Stick Controller. Designed to enhance games and virtual reality applications, the controller features both a flight stick and a twin throttle system. The controller connects to two USB 2.0 Type-A ports to provide military-grade realism to your simulated experience. The advanced H.O.T.A.S stick includes a 16-bit aileron and elevator axis to provide high-precision control with six-degrees of freedom that allows you to pitch, roll, yaw, and move down, left, right, forwards, up, and backwards. It also includes analog thumb sticks in addition to a fully adjustable spring tension system. Choose from the four included springs, each with different tensions, to suit your preferred level of precision and comfort or use none at all. Additionally, the controller’s dual throttle system is ideal for twin-engine space and aircraft. Customize the friction required to move each throttle or lock them together for single-engine craft.
The X56 controller as a whole has over 189 programmable controls, which lets you configure all 13 axes, five HATS, and 31 programmable buttons across three modes. You can assign the buttons to perform any game-specific function using the Logitech software in addition to programming in custom mouse and keyboard commands and macros. To top things off, the X56 controller features customizable full-spectrum RGB lighting to further enhance your experience. This controller is designed to work with Windows 10, 8.1, and 7.

I received the package a day earlier than promised and plugged them into the computer. MS Flight Sim detected them and filled in some basic functions, but I had to configure a few (afterburner was one). I have something like 15 hours on them so far and everything is working as expected. Construction seems good.

This thing is falling apart- but it shipped intact. The whole thing is plastic, even the metal switches, and every axis has a bit too much of a dead-zone in the middle to pilot with any real precision. Thankfully, I know how to solder, so I’ll be able to fix up the wires that are getting crimped in the throttle. The layout would be amazing if it weren’t garbage.

This controller was exactly what we were looking for. Easy to use and the ordering process was very simple. Ordered, shipped, and delivered all within a few days. I would absolutely buy from B&H again!

If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve had this controller for less than a month and it ghosts when playing games (especially DCS) The instructions in the manual aren’t the same as the suggestions from Logitech when you contact support about your brand new $250 controller ghosting and not working properly and the instructions from Logitech do NOTHING to solve the issues. I want my money back. This controller is also NOT plug n play. It requires drivers as well as setup. Oh! The controller also feels really cheap in the hand. Feels like cheap plastic. I’m not a happy camper. It even ghosted during my stream this afternoon and SHUT DOWN MY PLANE. MID FLIGHT. I managed to not die but only because I’m not new to flying. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this one. Save an extra $200 and get a not-Logitech brand controller. They’ve known about these issues for years (at least 4 years) and have done NOTHING to fix them.

Two weeks with X56 flying DCS, it works great. Stick have small gaps near center, common problem with spring sticks and it’s OK. Set a tiny dead zone can work around the problem. Throttle is little too tight even turn the dial to the most loosen position. It’s a personal preference, should be fine with most people. The bottom stand is huge and thick. I saw YouTube teardown videos most of space inside is empty. A bit hard to use on table.

The quality of this HOTAS is fantastic. It’s the same thing as the X-55 really. Less than ~3% drift on the stick easy to calibrate away. Within expected tolerance. No ghosting or drifting on the throttle. The X-55 was plagued with inadequate wiring that firmed up and broke away though. Logitech’s buyout and rebuild of this product hopefully included the wiring. Only time will tell to be honest. But off-the-bat, its great.

While this is my first time playing games like MSFS, I was recommended the X56, I must say I was impressed by the quality of the product, it had no scratches or broken plastic or any input lag. the throttle is a bit stiff but other than that the rest of it runs smooth
