   I bought this adapter hoping it would replace a $1.94 adapter from eBay which was less than reliable. I just wasted my money. When I try to play music through my BT earbuds, the sound is chopped into staccato fragments. A song takes 30-50% longer to play than it should. It is just a horrible sound. Asus tech support by phone just warns of extra long hold times. No response so far from emailing support. It is not worth my time and cost to send this back, so I am out what it cost me. I have gone back to my cheap adapter.

   Was very easy to use and set up. I had my bluetooth headphones working with my computer within 10 minutes of pulling the dongle out of the bock. Sure this will make an effect on the future peripherals I buy in the future as this will make things easier and quicker I am sure.

   I have added this bluetooth 4.0 adapter to a desktop running Ubuntu 20.04. It works fine except the range is about 10 feet. LOL, it’s longer than the cord on my wired earphones.

   worked one time and then would not pair after that even after updating drivers and trying numerous other fixes, none were successful and help from ASUS was non-exsistant and unhelpful at best. Very disappointed with this product.

   Downloaded the drivers as I heard the ones that come with don’t cut the mustard. I am SUPER happy with it. Have my two 8bit duo controllers working with it just fine. My old laptop is now a retro gaming beast. Oh, and WIN 11 drivers as well.
