This is the most worthless Printer/Scanner/Copier I have ever purchased. It jams all of the time, it pulls mores sheets of paper than needed, the toner cartridges are miniscule so you have to replace them constantly, the scanning quality is terrible…I could go on and on. I have more paper jams on a weekly basis than I did in a year on my old HP that cost 1/3 less. Don’t try to print more than 10 pages at a time, it will pull double the amount of paper and print portions of the document on some of the pages causing you to have reprint most of your document one page at a time! It wastes paper, toner and valuable work time! I purchased it for the paper and scanning capacity and the availability to purchase toner locally. I would get my 6 year old HP printer out of the basement and set it up again.if I could obtain toner cartridges for it. It worked 100 times better, was cheaper and never jammed like this Epson.

Just trying to scan my documents from the printer to my computer and can’t find a simple work-through method. This printer is too tech-heavy that it is not user friendly. I’m sure it’s a great workforce; it just needs to have a setup that is easier to understand.

This machine is absolute garbage. I have had Canon printers for years but decided to try something new. I wanted a document feeder and the ability to scan 8.5×14 documents so this seemed like a good choice. Before I list my issues with it, I will say that the quality of the scan is very good. And that’s the only good thing I’ll say. Here are my issues: 1. I like the ability to scan directly to my computer from the printer. This worked fine for a couple of months and then stopped. I have tried updating drivers, uninstalling and installing but nothing works. You have to use the scan app which is not my preference. 2. The document feeder is not good. If the papers are absolutely perfect (no bends) and the earth is position in just the right way, it’ll take a couple in. If it had any folds and you need front and and back, it’s going to jam. Every time. And it will never do a two sided copy of a legal sized document. 3. The paper tray sucks. Inevitably, it loosens so a document prints on more than one page or it shoots out six blank pages at once. 4. It will not automatically reconnect to my wifi if we lose power. Every other printer i’ve had did not struggle with this. Overall, if you are looking for a large, bulky, noisy printer that is incredibly cumbersome and requires feeding your documents one page at a time and is kind of pricey, I’d recommend this one. Otherwise, get a Canon.

Another winner! My previous WF840 lasted 13 years until the AF broke, so I got another. Set up w/i 45″ and back in business. Best multi function you can ever buy. Sincerely, buy this printer it’s the best. Everything about it is “best in class”, print speed is 2x faster than my old one, color, fax, scan all great. Works out of the box without spending hours troubleshooting. Disclosures: I have iMac. No I have no connection with Epson. Two person financial advisory office. Lots of scanning.

I like the printer. Great speed and picture quality. Physical set up was easy. Software set up instructions were poor at best.

Whatever you do do not upgrade the printer software if you plan on using third-party inks. I just upgraded to the latest software and it locked out and froze the current cartridges in my printer. Just bought them! They were working fine until the upgrade now they are frozen and the printer will not allow me to use these cartridges. They are brand new! Complete waste of my cash! Epson should not be allowed to do this!

Bad paper feed, inconsistent over wifi, menus get stuck and it’s an ink hog. Our 12 year old HP works better.
