bought this so my kid could do math on her machine without having to go through the frustration of using her finger on a trackpad. It works perfectly

This thing is wonderful, and I rely on it daily for my professional graphics work. It’s the most basic model, but that suits me because the extra buttons and features never found their way into my workflow. Other Wacom tablets I’ve had have lasted 5 years of daily hard use on average before going on the fritz – hopefully this one will do the same or better. Having natural drawing tools lets me bring so much organic aesthetic to my design work, and I actually use it to completely replace my mouse even when doing non design work.

I have owned a Cintiq 21 (dead after many years of use), currently have a Cintiq 13HD and previously owned a smaller Wacom tablet. This little device is quite impressive for the price. On par performance wise where it counts. You don’t get an eraser end like the other Wacom tablets (never used that personally, I just change brushes as I don’t like the abrasive plastic on the eraser side) Also, the pen is not compatible between this device and the other tablets, just an FYI. This can be used effectively for drawing/painting/retouching. It is bare bones compared to the Intuos/Wacom main tablets, with no extra function buttons and such. But the bulk of desired functionality (the pressure sensitive pen) is exactly right.

I’m just starting to explore digital drawing and art, and so far this tablet has been super easy to use and intuitive!

I needed a better tool than a trackball to do some detailed masking and cloning in PS. Basic, small and not expensive. It fits all of my needs.

This may not be the best drawing tablet available, but it does work with Linux, thanks to the Linux Wacom Project. I can use it with software such as GIMP, KRITA, and as a general pointing device. Have owned it since 2020 (for one year).
