With support for up to 64 high-definition surveillance cameras, this 10TB hard drive can hold a large amount of data and gives you the ability to easily upgrade and expand your security system. Furthermore, AllFrame 4K technology helps improve video capturing and reduces errors, pixelation, and video interruptions that could happen in a video recorder system.
A SATA III 6 Gb/s interface, sustained data transfer speeds of up to 210 MB/s, and a 256MB cache all help to ensure uninterrupted data transfers. Furthermore, the drive’s 300,000 load/unload cycles, annualized workload rating of 360TB per year, MTBF rating of 1 million hours, and <1 in 1015 non-recoverable read errors per bit read also help to ensure a strong operational life.

This hard drive makes a lot more noise then the 2tb hard drives that this 4tb drive replaced. The old drive is 4 years old and is still working .when it is. Quiet you can here it 15 feet away.the old drive is the same brand. Not sure if this is normal or a bad drive.
